Our Story
Welcome to AMAARA HOME
Where every piece tells a story.
From Inspiration to Creation
Amaara Home began not as a store, but as a story - one told through the pages of Foyer Magazine, a digital space curated by interior designer Sonam Chandok. Foyer wasn’t just about beautiful spaces; it was about inspiring people envision the home of their dreams - with expert tips, thoughtful design insights and a love for timeless aesthetics.
As the magazine gained a devoted following, readers began asking for more - not just inspiration, but access to the exact materials, products and details they saw and admired. What started as links to sources soon evolved into curated collections. People wanted more than to see; they wanted to own a piece of the vision.
This organic shift led us to create and offer our own products, designed with the same care and philosophy that Foyer stood for. And so, Amaara Home was born - a natural extension of a growing community’s love for soulful, elegant design.
Today, Amaara Home is proud to bring thoughtfully crafted decor to homes across India, U.S.A, Canada, Gulf Countries and beyond - each piece designed to celebrate beauty, emotion, and function in perfect harmony.
Hearts Behind Amaara Home
“Decorating a living space goes beyond just adding pretty things; it's about creating a harmonious dialogue among curated objects, turning them into catalysts for meaningful conversations and fond memories.”
– Sonam Chandok, Designer-in-Chief, Amaara Home
Sonam Chandok is a multi-faceted creative force - an interior designer by profession, a storyteller by instinct and the visionary behind Amaara Home. With an eye for refined detail and a heart rooted in meaningful design, Sonam has spent over a decade crafting space that blend beauty with soul.
She is the founder of Foyer Magazine, a beloved digital destination for design lovers that quickly became a trusted voice in the world of interiors, known for its thoughtful tips, timeless inspirations and soulful aesthetic. As the community around Foyer grew, so did its vision.
To bring those inspirations to life, Sonam established Atelier 16, her boutique interior design studio where curated spaces meet client dreams. And as people sought not just guidance but the tangible beauty behind her vision, Amaara Home was born - a natural evolution of her passion for helping people build spaces that feel like home.
Today, through Amaara, Foyer and Atelier 16, Sonam continues to shape a world where design is not just seen, but felt, celebrating quiet luxury, artisanal craftsmanship and a deep connection between people and the spaces they inhabit.
